A country variety cow distribution fair was inaugurated at Dharambandha village where Maa Duarshini village watershed development committee operates. The executive secretary of CPSW-KENDUBHATA presided over the event along with the sarpanch of Dharambandha GP was also graced the occasion. The objective of the program was to spread awareness on the organic farming practices to be adopted by the beneficiaries while employing the country variety cows for a living. The cow dung and urine will be used in their farm land to increase the productivity of the soil. These milch cows will provide organic milk for both consumption and marketing by the beneficiaries. The milch cows were supported through Maa Duarshani watershed development committee from NABARD in Dharambandha village in Nuapada block.
