Special Program for Promotion of Integrated Farming
The Special Program for Promotion of Integrated Farming (SPPIF) focuses on livelihood promotion for landless farmers through interventions such as pulse cultivation, distribution of fruit-bearing trees, cattle and goat shed construction, fishery assistance, and chick production units. Supported by the Government of Odisha, beneficiaries are selected through detailed surveys and consultations. With a dedicated team of three staff members, the program has made a significant impact by turning 21 villages into migration-free zones and helping 7,519 landless families achieve sustainable livelihoods. This initiative reduces dependency on external support, fosters self-reliance, and contributes to long-term stability and growth in the region.
