The Paramparagat Krishi Vikash Yojna (PKVY) aims to promote organic farming among landless farmers in Komna and Nuapada blocks of Nuapada district. Supported by the Government of Odisha, the program targets 924 beneficiaries, encouraging the adoption of bio-fertilizers and non-chemical pesticides while reducing reliance on chemical inputs.
With a single dedicated staff member, the initiative has increased the practice of organic farming among farmers, fostering healthier agricultural practices and raising awareness about the benefits of organic methods. The program contributes to sustainable farming and promotes long-term health and environmental benefits for the community.
